Crocheting Class
On Sat. I went to the class and learne how to do it. I called grandma today and got the pattern for the blankets. Which is a really good thing I did, because it is one she sorta made up. I am going to go to the store tomorrow and get some flannel and make a test blanket.
I also found a really cute quilt that I want to make for the baby. At the store there was a home made one and the lady wanted 70 for it. I think I can make one, way cheaper then that. So to keep my mind off sean being gone the next three weeks, I am going to break in my sewing machine that I have never used.
Jades First Game
Well tonight was Jades first baseball game. He did so great. It was funny to watch him in Soccer because they really had no clue what they were doing and sorta goofed off in the back field, but he was really focused and enjoyed playing. The first time he was up at bat he swung at all the pitches, but he tried and when the said he was out, he was pretty upset and started to cry, but Stephanie went over there and talked to him. Then when he was up at bat again, he hit the ball and got to first. He was so excited. He help get a guy out on first by catching the ball and tossing it to second.
After the five inning game it was out to ice cream. (Even though it was freezing and almost rainning, but hey, got to celebrate…right?) The game ended in a tie, 8-8 which was really good because the biys were way ahead and then somehow the other team came back. Jades team caught up and showed they weren’t going to give up.
His next game is on Wed. The only thing we forgot was his cup. which ment that he could be catcher, so we will get it figured out by then…..I hope Jade knows how to wear one…..LOL.. oh to be a boy,.
